Working in the UK - a Guide for EEA and Non-EEA Nationals

UCU is pleased to have teamed up with Bindmans LLP, a law firm with a national reputation for its immigration law team.

If you are concerned about your right to work in the UK, regardless of whether you are an EEA or Non-EEA National, you can find out more from the FAQs attached, see below. Many of the commonly asked questions we receive are answered.

There is guidance here from the UK government on the status of Eu Nationals after the triggering of Article 50. In addition, the government also published a policy paper on 26 June 2017 setting out its 'offer' to EU citizens and their families in the UK.

Regrettably, it looks as if the position will not be completely clear for some while.

However, if you have not found the answer to your questions and you want advice on your personal situtation, please complete the questionnaire below and email it to Membership and Professional Support. Please give us your full name, home address, and membership number when returning it to us. Clearly, any advice can only be given on the basis of existing rights.
