As well as picketing their three sites over the two days, members at CNWL held an 'Alternative Industry' day outside the college's Willesden entrance. The Alternative Industry Day sent up the College's decision to press ahead with showcasing their courses to local students, businesses and dignitaries even while lecturers were striking. Strikers held a day of alternative classes offering the opportunity to 'build a computer in 10 minutes' as well as providing masterclasses in plumbing and how to be a success in enterprise.
