Green reps: Trade unions and the environment

This new course is designed for UCU members who wish to develop their understanding of climate change and ways to protect the environment through change at work.  It is intended to enable those taking part to develop as environment champions or green reps.

This course will cover the following:

  • environment terminology and the current debate
  • legislation and other environmental information
  • environment management systems
  • current trade union policies and organisation
  • workplace and community strategies.
