Trade union bill

The trade union bill received Royal Assent on 4 May 2016 and is now an Act of Parliament.
UCU opposes the government's pernicious plans to undermine the role of trade unions by curtailing their ability to mobilise effective industrial action. The right to strike is a
fundamental human right and this bill is both excessive and unnecessary.
