Equal voices? - demanding recognition and action in the struggle for equality

A conference for academics, researchers and activists conducting research on equality with a focus on the areas of intersectionality, casualisation, mental health and data.

This first UCU equality research conference is organised following five successful UCU LGBT+ research conferences since 2008. This wider conference will explore a wider spectrum of topics, including but not limited to research which examines the impact of equality issues on the black, disabled, LGBT+, migrant and women staff represented in UCU's equality structures.

This 2022 conference seeks to bring together academics, researchers and activists to focus on research and chart a way forward which bridges the gap between academia and activism.
