Annual national member meetings
UCU's annual meetings are an opportunity for UCU members to meet with colleagues in order to discuss important issues and help direct UCU policy.
The meetings usually also elect members to the relevant UCU standing equality and special employment interest group committees, with the exception of the post-92, prison education and ACE members' meetings where there is no related committee.
The term 'academic-related staff' covers a wide range of roles in higher and further education; information services, computing, support and administration in grades represented by UCU.
UCU's annual equality conference combines a joint equality conference for black, LGBT, disabled and women members as well as dedicated sessions for the four constituencies, joint sessions, various workshops and guest speakers.
