UCU branches involved in the New Deal for FE dispute, September 2025

19 September 2025

54 further education (FE) England college employers, corresponding to 85 UCU branches, will be involved in the New Deal for FE dispute and industrial action ballot in Autumn 2025. Please note that some institutions/college groups have multiple UCU branches.

Some branches have already been pursuing separate negotiations regarding pay and working conditions, while some have accepted offers from employers (before or during the industrial action balloting period), and these are not included in the list below.

* The New Deal for FE industrial action ballot closed on Monday 17 November 2025 for all participating UCU branches, with the exception of Myerscough College (NW080), whose industrial action ballot will close on Tuesday 25 November 2025 for administrative reasons.
