Campaign update: 25 November 2016

HEADLINES THIS WEEK

Scrap the HE Bill

UCU is calling for the Higher Education and Research Bill 2016 to be scrapped and has argued against proposals to encourage more private for-profit providers and raise tuition fees. Please support our campaign to protect quality and keep profit out of higher education and email your MP about the HE Bill using our online tool.

Further education: fund our future

UCU has joined voices from across the further education (FE) sector to call on the government to make strategic investment in rebuilding the capacity of colleges, funding extra teaching and support staff so that more learners can reach their potential. You can add your voice to the campaign for an additional 15,000 college staff by clicking here
