Are UCU courses accredited?

Apart from our shorter 1 day courses all of the UCU programme is accredited via the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

The QCF is a new way of recognising achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications. It provides flexible routes to gaining full qualifications, and enables qualifications to be achieved in small steps.

The UCU programme is now located within the QCF with new arrangements for qualifications. All learners registered on UCU education programmes will be eligible to work towards qualifications. This means that all credits achieved on courses will build towards awards, certificates and diplomas, issued through our awarding body, NOCN. Tutors will advise how to build credits into a recognised trade union qualification.

At the end of your course you will receive a certificate as evidence of achievement.

For more information go to the QCF website.
