Cradle to Grave 2025

16 January 2025

Theme: Education for Liberation: building progressive post-16 education policy

Saturday 29 March 2025

UCU's 'Cradle to Grave' policy conference will take place on Saturday 29 March 2025 at CCT Venues, Smithfield, London.

This annual conference is a chance for members to gather together to discuss some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the sectors where we organise. The theme of this year's conference is 'Education for Liberation: building progressive post-16 education policy'. The full list of speakers will be confirmed shortly.

Registration is open here

The conference will be run as a hybrid event, with options to attend in person at the CCT Venue Smithfields, London or online via Zoom. We expect spaces for the in-person event to fill up quickly so register as soon as possible to secure your place. The deadline to register, whether you plan to attend online or in-person, is Thursday 13 March 2025.

The conference is free to attend, but regrettably UCU cannot reimburse full travel costs. We appreciate rail costs can be high from areas outside London, so we can reimburse 25% of the cost of tickets over £20, up to a maximum of £50, if you book before the deadline of Thursday 13 March 2025. Claims for reimbursement can be made by submitting an expense claim form (copies of which will be available at the event) alongside proof of purchase.
