European teachers call for solidarity with Greek workers

Messages of solidarity sent in advance of Greek demonstrations against draconian spending cuts.
On 26 September 2012 Greek teachers will be participating in a general strike against the latest round of draconian spending cuts. The European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE) have issued a solidarity statement in support of our Greek colleagues.
UCU have written to the Greek embassy in London to emphasise our support for the Greek trade unions.
