HAZMAP: a workshop for UCU H&S reps in higher education

Seminar for UCU health and safety officers on HAZMAP, a monitoring and audit tool developed by the Universities Safety & Health Association.

An introduction to HAZMAP

HAZMAP is the monitoring and audit tool developed by the Universities Safety & Health Association (USHA) for use by university H&S professionals.  It will be very useful for UCU safety representatives in universities to understand how this tool works, and the process USHA recommends for effective workplace audits.

There 20 places available on a first come - first served basis, but we'd also like to ensure at least one representative from each UCU region/nation.  We are thinking about organising some kind of follow-up activity in each region.

Date: Thursday 5 May 2016

Time: 11.00 am - 3.30 pm

Venue:
University and College Union
3rd floor
Alpha Tower
Birmingham
B1 1TT
United Kingdom

Speakers: Scott Trim from Coventry University will facilitate the seminar.  Scott is a member of the USHA Executive Board responsible for the Auditing Group.
