UCU's fourth 'Cradle to Grave' conference

UCU's fourth major conference on the defence of public education held on 11 February 2017

Following the vote to leave the European Union in June 2016, the theme was: Education without borders? What next for further and higher education in a post-BREXIT world.  

The keynote speaker was shadow chancellor John McDonnell MP who was joined by award winning political commentator Steve Richards, author and campaigner Melissa Benn and former vice chancellor Sir Peter Scott among others.
