Update on the Teachers' Pension Scheme - Spring 2022

Our latest update covers the changes that will be made on 1 April 2022 to all public service pension schemes including the Teachers' Pension Schemes in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
These changes are happening to remove the age discriminatory impact of schemes' transitional protection arrangements, and are often known as 'McCloud Remedy' (although funded in a different way, some of the same issues also affect the Local Government Pension Schemes).
It also provides updated information on another legal case that may impact on schemes.
