Oppose changes to University of Leeds statutes: email your MP

7 July 2017

The University of Leeds is planning to change the statutes which govern terms and conditions for staff. The proposals include significant changes to potential reasons for staff dismissal, and in how dismissal appeals are assessed.

The changes to statutes will shortly be presented to the Privy Council for approval, after which it would be very difficult to reverse them. If you work at the University of Leeds, please support our campaign against the changes by asking your MP to contact the vice chancellor and privy councillors to oppose them on your behalf.
