National unity demonstration against fascism and racism

National demonstration in London opposing the increasing racism and xenophobia directed against some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.

Unions and community groups must work together and mobilise in greater numbers to oppose the rise of racist and fascist activity across Europe.

Stand Up To Racism, Unite Against Fascism and Love Music Hate Racism have together called for a national unity demo against the fascist and racist right on Saturday 17 November and unions voted to get involved with the organisation of the demo, along with the support of community groups and senior figures in the shadow cabinet.

At the 2018 TUC Congress, an emergency motion to support the demonstration was moved by UCU and seconded by PCS.
