General election 2019

Ahead of the general election in December 2019, UCU published a manifesto setting out six key areas for reform of post-16 education and looked at how the main political parties' pledges stack up.
UCU's manifesto priorities include investment in further, higher and adult education as well as in the post-16 education workforce, reforming university admissions, making international staff feel welcome in the UK and putting skills at the heart of the climate transition.
