In support of Fridays for Future

Last year, our trade unions joined the call from the UK Student Climate Network in solidarity action to support the global climate strike, and we are calling on our members do so again on 25th September.

Climate change is a trade union issue. Only through collective action, including across our movement, can we build the low carbon economy we urgently need as a response to the climate and Covid crises.

As unions representing or working with young people such as in the food industry, in education, or as civil servants delivering government policy, we believe that we have to work together to show another future is possible.

Please take one or more of these six Covid safe steps to show our solidarity to the Fridays for Future movement, and that they are not fighting alone.
