HE branch campaign resources

The aim of the resources on this part of campaign pages is to provide HE branches with resources to start campaigning against casualisation in their own workplace.

There are a number of opportunities in HE to tackle casualisation - for example through the Framework Agreement and the fixed-term contract regulation:

We have also prepared an example of a redeployment policy - often a key component in improving the security of our members whether on fixed-term or other forms of insecure contracts:

We also provide model letters that the branch/LA can provide to members if they wish to challenge less favourable treatment or the successive use of fixed-term contracts:

Lastly, but by no means least, this part also includes template letters that branches/LAs can adopt for targeted recruitment of research staff and/or hourly paid teaching staff, as well as other campaigning materials:
