Pay scales transition
Following the conclusion of national talks in April 2004 over the revision of the pay scales and introduction of a new single national pay spine, institutions across the UK implemented the new arrangements.
The previous historic pre-1992, post-1992 and HE2000 scales below are retained for information only.
