Review of post-18 education and funding 2018

In February 2018, the UK prime minister confirmed that the government would undertake a review of post-18 education and funding, with a stated aim of 'creating a joined-up system that works for everyone'.
UCU's response to the call for evidence calls for a comprehensive overhaul of post-18 funding and increased incentives to address the damaging decline in part-time study since the introduction of higher tuition fees.
It also reinforces the need for a high-quality and sustainable education system to be underpinned by a highly-qualified, well-supported and fairly remunerated workforce.
