Special HE sector conference - November 2008: 2009-10 pay claim

Purpose of meeting

This special sector conference will consider the 2009 pay claim. The formal calling notice has now been issued (UCU131):

The timetable for this conference is as follows:

• 21 October - deadline for submission of motions at 5:00pm
• 22 October - Congress Business Committee meets
• 24 October, 12 noon - deadline for registration of delegates to conference
• 24 October - Congress Business Committee report to be made available to branches
• 3 November, 12 noon - deadline for receipt of amendments
• 7 November - higher education sector conference
