Sally Hunt has been elected as general secretary of UCU.

The ballot to elect UCU's general secretary closed at 12 noon on Wednesday 7 March 2007.
There were three candidates standing in this election:
- Ms Sally Hunt (UCU joint general secretary)
- Mr Peter Jones (Deeside College)
- Mr Roger Kline (UCU head of equality and employment rights)
